Al's Hideaway Cabin and RV Rentals, LLC — Policies & Guest Responsibilities

Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-in: 3:00 PM. Early check-in is available for a fee of $25.00 per hour. Arriving after 8:00 PM? We offer self check-in — we'll send instructions.
• Check-out: before 11:00 AM. Late check-out is available for a fee of $25.00 per hour and must be pre-arranged.

Cancellation Policy

• 14 or more days before arrival: refund or gift certificate.
• 2–13 days before arrival: gift certificate only.
• Less than 24 hours before arrival, and early departures: non-refundable.
• Travel insurance is available at checkout when you book.
• Bookings made through third-party platforms follow that platform's policies.
• Rates and policies are subject to change and may vary during high-impact periods, holidays, and special events.

Registration & Visitors

• Anyone not registered and accounted for is trespassing. All visitors must register with the front office and pay a visitor fee of $12.50 per person over 5 years old.
• Absolutely no subletting. Rates are subject to change without notice.

Quiet Hours

• Quiet hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Al's Hideaway will not tolerate any onerous, noxious, or offensive activity that could interrupt or adversely affect the enjoyment of other guests. Parties responsible for such activity will be required to leave the park immediately, along with everyone in their party, under Texas Penal Code Section 30.05 (Trespass Law), without refund.

Campfires, Grills & Fireworks

• Campfires are allowed in designated fire rings only, provided we are not under a burn ban and conditions are not windy. Never leave a fire unattended.
• Personal charcoal and propane grills must be approved by campground management.
• Do not put hot coals in garbage containers.
• Fireworks are prohibited anywhere on the property.

Pets

• We are pet friendly — and your pet stays free — as long as your pet is friendly and vaccinated.
• Pets must be kept on a leash at all times and may not be left unattended. Pets may not be tethered to utility fixtures, picnic tables, trees, or fences.
• Pet waste must be picked up by the owner. You are responsible and will be charged for any damage your pet causes.

Smoking

• No smoking in cabins or tents. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged if a cabin smells of smoke or shows evidence of smoking — no questions asked. Absolutely no illegal drug use.

Children

• Parents and guardians are always responsible for their children's safety and behavior. Please supervise small children in showers and restrooms, and do not allow children to play in the roadway.

Electricity

• Each unit comes with 20 kWh of electricity usage per day, with a fee of $0.25 per kWh after that. (For reference: a 1,500 sq ft home averages about 20 kWh a day — our largest cabin is 800 sq ft.)

Garbage

• Please deposit all garbage in the trash cans located throughout the campground. RV guests may place garbage bags at the end of their site in the morning.

Trees & Wildlife

• Healthy trees pose a natural hazard of falling debris, especially in windy or extreme weather. We do not assume responsibility for these natural hazards or any resulting property damage or injury — please keep this in mind when parking and enjoying the park.
• Wildlife viewing is one of the joys of the Hill Country — observe safely, and do not feed, pet, or harm wildlife. Al's Hideaway and its managers are not responsible for bites or stings from insects, pests, or wildlife on the property.

Payment & Refunds

• We require full payment in advance. Refunds are governed by the cancellation policy above.
• Per Texas Penal Code Section 31.04(b), any guest who leaves without paying for their site or services, or refuses to pay when due, is subject to criminal prosecution under the Theft of Service law.

Liability & Hold Harmless

• Management assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss from any cause. Al's Hideaway Cabin and RV Rentals, LLC is not responsible for personal or property loss, theft, damage, or claims due to fire, theft, accident, wildlife, or any other cause.
• You are responsible for any damage to property caused by yourself, your guests, your party, or your pets.
• Indemnity and waiver of liability: Customers shall indemnify and hold owner harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising from any and all damages or injuries caused by fire, water, wind, civil strife, or acts of God, owner and/or customer actions or inactions (or those of their employees, agents, or invitees), or any other matter related to customer's use or occupation of the property's units, regardless of whether such loss was caused by negligence of any of the campground parties.

Pool Rules & Regulations

• All bathers must shower before entering the pool.
• Do not enter the pool if you have diarrhea. Persons with cuts, fever, skin disease, communicable diseases, colds, infection, or other physical ailments are prohibited from entering the water.
• No spitting or body fluids in the pool.
• Bottles, glass, and other hazardous objects are prohibited in the pool area and bathroom facilities.
• All children under the age of 15 must have adult supervision. Babies must wear swim diapers if not potty trained.
• No diving, no running, and no rough play in the pool area. Do not bring or throw any object into the pool or walkways that could endanger anyone's safety.
• Any person suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited from entering the pool.
• Food and beverages are allowed in the designated seating areas only — never in the swimming pool. No tobacco products in the pool area.
• All animals are prohibited from the pool area, except service animals.
• Rules are strictly enforced. We reserve the right to close the pool at any time, for any reason.

Affirmation

As a customer of Al's Hideaway Cabin and RV Rentals, LLC, you fully understand and accept these rules and any other park rules, and agree to vacate the premises at the request of management if you violate these rules and regulations, without a refund of any prepaid fees.

This agreement does not constitute a landlord/tenant agreement. Payment for sites is entirely for services rendered under a host/guest arrangement.
