Meet Al's Hideaway Energy & Drink Bar, Opening This Fall on Bumpgate

If you drive Bumpgate Road into town most mornings, you already know the problem. There's exactly one drive-thru coffee place in Pipe Creek, and it's out on 16 — a good little detour out of your way. After that, you're looking at a Starbucks run that eats into your morning. We got tired of hearing folks say that, so we decided to fix it ourselves.
We're opening the Al's Hideaway Energy & Drink Bar right here at the corner of Bumpgate Road and Willow Springs Drive — no detour required if you're already headed this way.
What's On the Menu
This isn't going to be watered-down syrup out of a plastic jug. We're running premium Monin flavors — the same stuff the real coffee shops use — across the whole lineup, with plenty of sugar-free options too:
- Custom energy drinks, mixed however you like them
- Espresso & coffee drinks — lattes, cold brew, the works
- Spritzers for something lighter
- Tea and other hydration options
- Breakfast tacos, made fresh, because nobody should have to choose between coffee and breakfast
And here's what most shops around here don't offer: energy and hydration boosts can be added to any drink on the menu, not just the ones labeled that way — dress up your iced tea or your latte if that's what you're after. We can also add full-spectrum CBD to any drink on request. Just tell us how you want it built when you order.
Text Ahead, Walk In, Go
We're not set up as a drive-thru — you'll park and come inside the store to grab your order. But here's the part that actually saves you time: text your order to 830-510-1883, and it'll be sitting there ready when you walk in. No line, no waiting on your drink to be made while you watch the clock. For commuters running the Bumpgate corridor every morning, that's the whole point.
Soft Opening at the Rally, Doors Open October 1
We're aiming to have everything up and running for the soft opening the last weekend of September — which happens to line up with Rumble on the River, the biker rally rolling into Mansfield Park in Bandera September 25–27. If you're riding through for the rally, swing by and be among the first to try it. Once we've got the kinks worked out, we'll open the doors to everybody on October 1.
