Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to enjoy Al's Hideaway - on our website and on our property.

This accessibility statement was last updated in June 2026.

We're Committed to Easy Access for Everyone

Al's Hideaway is committed to making our website as accessible as possible to people with special needs, including those with visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor impairments. We have invested significant resources toward improving the accessibility of our website to ensure we provide equal access to all of our users.

To help us make Al's Hideaway a positive place for everyone, we use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user-friendly for everyone.

ADA Accessible Units

As required by law for owner-occupied properties that have more than 5 units, properties with 6 units or more should provide a unit that is reserved for customers with disabilities. The property should clearly identify these units and describe the accessible features in sufficient detail to reasonably permit individuals with disabilities to assess independently whether a given unit meets his or her accessibility needs.

When selecting an ADA-designated unit, if you do not have accessibility or other disability needs, please click cancel and select another unit unless it is the last unit available. If you do not meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements for the unit and it is not the last unit available, Al's Hideaway reserves the right to change your reservation to another unit without your permission to accommodate customers with qualifying disabilities.

According to federal law (see ada.gov), places of lodging with 5 or fewer units where the owner lives on the property are exempt from having an ADA unit. Religious organizations are exempt from Title III requirements. Historical properties may also be exempt from certain Title III requirements. All other properties may be subject to Title III requirements.

How Are We Doing?

We've worked hard on the Al's Hideaway website and believe we've achieved our goal of Level AA accessibility. We monitor the website regularly to maintain this, but if you find any problems, please get in touch:
